miHUB's Participation in the 14th Annual Strawberry Festival in Deryneia

On Friday, June 6, 2025, miHUB participated in the 14th Annual Strawberry Festival at the Anagennisi Stadium in Deryneia. From 16:00 to 21:00, our team was present at the venue to inform the public about our services and strengthen our presence in the local community.

Throughout the event, we distributed informational materials and made connections with local stakeholders and professionals to build new partnerships. The Deryneia Youth Group showed strong interest in miHUB's work and suggested organizing joint multicultural activities in the near future. During our discussion, we also explored the possibility of using "The Garaz," a multipurpose venue near the buffer zone, to host such events.

A significant moment of the day was meeting with the Minister of Interior, Mr. Constantinos Ioannou. We presented the scope of miHUB's work and brought several local challenges to his attention. The Minister listened carefully, expressed his appreciation, and recognised the team for its contribution and ongoing efforts.

The Deputy Mayor of Deryneia, Mr. Nikos Lilis, was also present and requested a follow-up communication regarding the provision of clothing and food supplies to continue our existing cooperation. 

miHUB's participation in the Strawberry Festival highlighted the importance of engaging with the local community and confirmed the value of such initiatives in promoting social inclusion and intercultural understanding.
